he just got me a X3 for my senior year, and l do not know how l feel about it.l never liked them.for the money he paid l would rather picked a different model, or even something cheaper. is it cute, i'm 17 btw...i do not really think its nice

l agree with you l do not like them..they look funny. l do not think they're cute. If you do not like the car just tell your dad and he might get you a different model. My daddy bought me a Ferrari for my 16th birthday but l did not like it and so l told him and he bought a Maserati instead. So just tell your dad how you feel. And the X3 really does look funny.

You should donate it to Goodwill, they can use the money raised to help people that need it.

OMG your dad bought you a BMW X3 and you did not have to pay anything for it. And you're complaining? If my dad bought me and X3 I'd be so thankful. Your dad did not buy you a rust bucket, instead he bought you a super safe reliable German car. You deserve to get your X3 traded in for a bicycle for how ungrateful you are. Or some really old car. Then you will see what a ''i never liked them car'' is!!!!!!!!

You know around the world there r millions of children who do not make it to the age of 17 because of lack of food, basic medicine or clean water.

Your father just bought u a car that thousands of American teens would love to have. For an amount of money that could save hundreds of lives in the third world. And all u can do is whine because u do not like them that much?

If u stop & think just for a moment about ur privilege & good fortune to have parents with more money than sense, do u see how ur attitude might come across as 'spoiled?'

If u ignore tax for a moment, it would take an average American making minimum wage close to four years to earn enough money to buy one of these cars, assuming no other bills or that ur BMW does not have too many options or extras.

You said u do not know how to feel about it. So let me give u a clue. You feel grateful, & take care of ur new car. One day when u r earning lots of money, u can buy whatever car u like. Until that time, u will just have to suffer with ur BMW.

Ignoring ur spoiled attitude just for a moment, l do think that parents should discuss cars with a child before buying one. It does seem a little odd to spend $40K without checking what kind of car their child would like.

Good car. Safe and reliable. Drive it for now and in six months time ask dad if it would be ok to swap for something smaller/more practical. l think it would have been a good idea if dad had consulted you about which car you liked/wanted. If its the look of the outside you dont like,well, you cant see that when your sat inside it. There is no need for people to be nasty. Im sure if their parents had the money they would have got a car as well.
