looking for proper bleeding directions for the clutch on my 95 bmw m3

You put it on a lift, then bleed the clutch slave cylinder
(just like bleeding a wheel brake cylinder).
Actual bleeding can be done a number of ways:
a) old style is with somebody pumping the clutch pedal
then holding it depressed while another person cracks open the cylinder bleeder. do this a number of times.
b) one-man bleeding needs a simple bleeding container that has enough brake fluid in it that would allow it to accept bled fluid but not allow air to go back to the cylinder on the return stroke.
Remember not to make the master clutch cylinder run dry while bleeding, so frequent refills is needed.
For newbies, l would suggest just bringing it to a qualified mechanic. It is not worth the hassle.

Jack up the front end & place on a stands.
Open brake master cylinder, get most of brake fluid out, fill in with a fresh new fluid.

Take slave cylinder out, should be mounted with 2 hex bolts.
Flip the slave cylinder over so that the bleeding valve points to the top, then open the valve. While valve is open, u want to press the slave cylinder piston, close the bleeding valve, & let the piston go free. Do it until u see clear stream of brake fluid comes out from the bleeding valve.

BMW clutch cannot be bleeded using the old method of pump ing the clutch because the bleeding valve of the slave cylinder points down direction when mounted. It is difficult to bleed this way (because air bubble floats up direction) And u can trash the slave cylinder when u press the clutch down while slave cylinder is out. ( l did that years ago by accident)

it also helps to use colored brake fluid. l rotate between two types of ATE fluid (one is blue, other is brown) that way u can quickly tell when fresh brake fluid start to pour out of the valve.
