My BMW 316 compact (e36 96) got engine problem, it stalls at stop, sometimes rough idling as well. l took a scan with Carsoft 6.5 and it shows me with German language. l do not understand it. So l am looking for someone to help.

Hi Dude

Looks like you got two problems:

1) Air Mass Meter (aka Air Flow Meter)

2) O2 Sensors (aka Lambda Sensor)

l have a 1998 318i that has needed both replacing, as yours is older l am not surprised that they may have failed.

ONLY GET GENUINE, NEW BMW PARTS FROM A BMW DEALER. I've used other makes in the past - they're cheaper for one reason = they're not as good.
