carrera GT vs BMW M3 which one is faster

The Porsche Carrera GT is faster, by a long shot.

M3 is really fast..

Carrera GT, huge advantage, larger engine, lighter chassi, longer frame and a much more sophisticated ECU system. As much as l love BMW, the Carrera destroys it.

l own a E92 BMW M3 and l have to reluctantly admit a Carrera GT is much faster.

Now if you are talking about a Porsche 911 Carrera, Carrera S, Carerra 4 or Carrera 4S then the BMW M3 is faster than all of them!

even though the M3 is a much better car in general and would totally destroy the Porsche in handling and overall feel, i'm sorry to say that the carrera is A LOT faster.

The M3 is way better a handling but the Carerra is way faster. :{

Carrera GT is faster, though costs much more.

The RS4 and C63 AMG are faster than the M3.

Wow. This would depend on the year, but in general, the Carrera GT would be faster. But there are so many different variables, it would be hard to say. If the cars were completely stock at a chosen year, let say 2003, l would give the lighter GT the edge. If this was a 2008, this would be interesting. l would like to see this one on a track. l would think the 2008 M3 would be faster.

l am guessing you have the Carrera GT confused with something else, because this is not a good comparison at all. The Carrera GT is a half a million dollar supercar. The M3 is just a quick sports car.
