l own a BMW Mini Cooper and I've just driven home from work but every time l indicate left or right, my headlights seem to fail.

By touching the headlight stalk on the side of the steering wheel, they came back on.

It was very scary for a second, as the whole inside of the car went dark.

Any idea is to what it could be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like your headlights and indicator relays are interfering with one another

It is probably a relay. Get it booked into your local dealer (if under warranty) or a BMW / MIN l specialist and they will fix it.

You're looking at roughly £100 to fix the problem (give or take £20).
