how are they in the winter? how do they even work? do you recommend them? l live in chicago!

all season tires really just have different tread sections specified for different situations. for example, the section specific to when it is raining have treads that move water way from the tire so there is contact with the road. For snow/ice it would be a much more precise tread to gain grip on a slippery surface. For Chicago however, they really r a better choice. If u do not want to spend the money just by something similar like a multi-surface tire. It really depends on where & how u drive.

all seasonal tires work really good in all kinds of weather. yes l would recommend them.

better get a winter tire,trust me. do not risk. all season tire are not made for winter,they made for a very light sno,but never ice or too much snow. expecially your car probably not 4x4 or AWD,so your best bet is winter tires
